This family was had an unshakable peace and calm. This baby girl is so lucky to have this peaceful house to be born into! They also had an adorable dog kiwi who was eager to keep mom company during breast feeding sessions.
This bride was so calm cool and collected. She enjoyed the process of being made up by both the hair and make up artist and even ate some fruit salad during the process! By the time her fiance arrived to pick her up she was feeling good and ready for the wedding event. She did surround herself with only close family and a select two besties.
Twins! We started off this shoot on a rooftop in NYC. They were so playful and interactive and happy! I love seeing how parents take care of twins - I think parents of twins ought to get an extra parenting medal. Imagine your kids having the same needs at almost the same time! They were a delightful family that were all hands on deck!
Loved this maternity session. This lovely lady was so fun and had some ideas of her own she wanted to try out! Is it boudoir? If it was we didn't mean for it to be it just happened. I think the black lingerie goes in that directly a bit but the mood makes it more sublime than sexy. As long as we get some beautiful pics I'm not concerned with the category but I'm sure her husband isn't complaining :)
The stage was set with cake, baby, close family members and new baby! Only having a newborn baby a week earlier I thought this new mom did an amazing job in creating such a sweet birthday for her husband (and new Dad). Such a pleasure to do a more capture this caring family in their element.
Second part of this shoot involved a trip around Williamsburg, Brooklyn Very fun - we hit a local cafe, the waterfront and a park where they were having a game of soccer. This new family enjoyed our outing and made the most of every minute together celebrating their new baby. I especially love the way new Dad is bursting with happiness!
Loving my new spot for maternity couples! Who says you can't shoot outside in the winter? Very New England-y scene, the stone wall in the background created from the Croton Dam. The foliage becomes these earthy tones. Colors of yellow, and deep rich red with a kind of purple quiet cast which is perfect for this mom-to-be emerge from the background! I will be back here for sure. Of course it helps to have a loving pair of people to make it all possibile. Love it!

Is it because I grew up with it and it seems so familiar? The Christmas tree taps that feeling deep inside my childhood. A signifier of a time when I felt safe, curious and totally taken care of. Even if I sensed that there were struggles in our family, through the lens of that tree things always seemed hopeful and forward looking.Read More
This sweet couple wanted photos of their newborn and the previous generation! Their parents came all the way from India to welcome their new grandson! I love their location choice. It was basically a community space in their building on the Brooklyn Waterfront but it looks like a lovely garden!
